Bulk Cargo Handling
Tidal USA has cargo handling grabs available for short term rental to our principals. Recognizing the need for modern and efficient grabs, often at short notice, our grabs are based on the Columbia River but can readily be relocated to meet a demand for service.
A Tidal USA mechanic is normally allocated to attend grab operations to assist with training and efficient utilization but also to perform regular maintenance between working shifts.

Tidal Transport is extensively involved in the coordination of Stevedore and Terminal Operations for the Break Bulk Industry and is uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive vessel planning, supervision and on-board attendance in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Central America.
The diverse expertise of Tidal’s staff includes Stevedoring Management, Terminal Management and Project Management along with strong seafaring experience. This combination of expertise permits Tidal to offer a full range of vessel attendance services, regardless of commodity or vessel type.
Tidal Canada’s Port Captaincy Team co-ordinates the loading to vessel of approximately 95% of British Columbia Log Exports. Main log loading ports are New Westminster on BC’s South Coast Mainland, Nanaimo, Crofton, Port Alberni, Kultus Cove, and Gold River on Vancouver Island, and Prince Rupert and Stewart on the North Coast.
Attendance rates are tailored to client needs and are available upon request.
